Bajillions Early Math is a set of 70+ educational games, all within one child-friendly app. This research-based early mathematics learning system was designed to support children's mathematical thinking through playful, engaging experiences. As children play, the adaptive system personalizes each child's experience by continuously responding to their developing mathematical understanding. Each session begins with an individualized Daily Quest, followed by opportunities to explore additional games aligned with the child's learning pathway.

Through the Bajillions Early Math Study, researchers examine how the platform influences mathematical learning and engagement, helping build the evidence base for effective early mathematics instruction. The randomized control trial will assign children to receive either number or geometry games in the Fall, then switch in the Spring, with in-person child assessments or specific games used to evaluate their progress three times per year.

By participating in the Bajillions Early Math Study, you'll help researchers better understand how digital learning can support young children's mathematical development while bringing an engaging learning experience to your classroom.

The Bajillions Early Math Study is seeking educators and schools interested in partnering with researchers to support young children's mathematical learning. Your classroom may be eligible if it meets the following criteria:

1. You teach children ages 3–8 years
2. A school or program administrator is willing to provide a Letter of Support for your classroom. (See Administrator Information Packet to simplify this process)
3. Families are willing to allow their children to participate in research.

If you think your classroom meets the study's eligibility requirements, please submit an application. Based on your application, the research team will determine your participation pathway, answer your questions, and support setup and implementation.

Developed by the Marsico Institute for Early Learning at the University of Denver in collaboration with FableVision Studios, Bajillions is built on decades of research about how young children learn mathematics.

Over the past four years, researchers have worked closely with educators and children to design, refine, and test the platform in real classrooms.

Now, we're inviting additional educators, families, and children to help shape its next phase through the Bajillions Early Math Study.

Every child uses an individual profile so the learning experience can adapt to their unique progress over time. Their starting point is based on their age/grade. After about 5 game play sessions, the system gauges your students' strengths and adapts to their learning needs.
