  • Shown 2 objects then 1 object going under a napkin, makes a set of 3 objects to “match."
  • Shown 3 objects going under a napkin, then 1 object taken away, identifies or makes a set of 2 objects to “match” using fingers.

Help your student become a(n) Preverbal +/-

These activities provide children with opportunities to see and manipulate objects being added to or subtracted from a very small group of objects. It's especially helpful to ask them to "make yours look like mine" after hiding one or two objects and then adding one.
