Quick Description:

Children will investigate the properties of different containers making guesses and drawing conclusions about a container’s capacity. NOTE: We use the term capacity (how much a container can hold) fairly synonymously with volume (the amount of space that is enclosed by a container) when filling (Adapted from Clements and Sarama, 2021).
