Comparing Quantities

Activity Type: Routines
Comparison Senser: Foundations

Quick Description:

Making judgments of the number in sets of all different sizes helps strengthen children’s number sense and specifically their abilities in comparing and ordering. Talk about where there are “more” or “fewer” (for countable items) or “more” and “less” (for continuous quantities that we measure—length, volume, etc.).
